We are building capabilities around agriculture-linked carbon opportunities, sustainable practices, field data and project readiness.
Carbon credits are not automatic. A project must satisfy the applicable methodology, eligibility, monitoring, reporting, verification and issuance requirements. Our role can include project development and coordination around those requirements.
Assess project activity, baseline, additionality considerations, land/farmer participation and data availability.
Structure farmer, landowner, enterprise and field-partner participation.
Organise measurement, records, monitoring processes and evidence needed for credible verification.
Coordinate with qualified technical, validation/verification and market participants where required.
India's Carbon Credit Trading Scheme includes an offset mechanism for eligible projects. Agriculture has been identified as a selected sector under the framework, and the Ministry of Agriculture has developed a voluntary carbon-market framework for agriculture.
